Brighton Rooms to Book - Hotels and City Guide

Brighton certainly has a unique character, or maybe even two: this glorious seaside destination manages to combine two very different images to produce a resort that attracts thousands of visitors year after year. On one hand Brighton has a “kiss me quick” image synonymous with so many seaside postcards that is so quintessentially British; and on the other a sophisticated image from when Brighton was so popular during the Regency period in Britain – in fact many fine examples of Regency architecture still endure in the area.

It’s no wonder that Brighton was voted in the top ten UK cities in the Observer 2000 Travel Awards – as it’s so diverse with something to cater for all tastes – whoever you are or wherever you’re from, there is something in Brighton for you. Whether you enjoy relaxing on the beautiful beach stretches or walking along the famous Brighton Pier, there can be no better way to unwind – or when the south coast sun emerges, perhaps even a dip in the sea. For those that enjoy something rather more lively, what about visiting the stretches of bars, restaurants, pubs and clubs along the beach or in the city centre? Brighton has a fantastic reputation for nightlife, which has been enjoyed by Mods and Rockers right up until today – an experience that really should be sampled.

The city has a very cosmopolitan feel – probably as a result of its close proximity to London – which enables many from the city to commute down to the sunny south coast and unwind by the sea.

There is much fine accommodation to be had in Brighton, whether you wish to board in style at a plush hotel or the intimate surrounding and personal touch of a B & B there is something for everyone.
